With help from the Popkin Fund, every student, teacher, and staff member at Parkmont receives a book of their choice to read over winter break. The teachers hand them out at Announcements, and we all enjoy seeing what everyone else receives. The Fault in Our Stars is a recurring favorite, and there are usually at least one Stephen King novel and Diary of a Wimpy Kid in the mix. Cookbooks, too, always make the list.
